Safe, relaxing and educational.

Our mission is to provide a safe, relaxing, fun-filled and educational dental experience. We hope to instill important values, from simple tooth anatomy to learning how to regain control over your oral health. We take pride in our standard of care and the personal attention given to each patient. You will see the attention to detail as soon as you come through the main doors, from the carved door handles to a vaulted cottage ceiling, a fireplace with three televisions and a courtesy internet bar.

The least dentistry in your lifetime.

We offer a variety of services that suit your dental needs, and we guide patients on a path of the least amount of dentistry in their lifetime. Digital scanning replaces the trays and the goop, a soft tissue diode laser handles cold sores, canker sores and other soft tissue work, and a 3D CBCT x-ray lets us plan a surgery precisely and show you every step before the day.

Who we are

Meet the team.

Moose Lake Dental was built around one complaint Dr. Radovan Rudik kept overhearing: I hate going to the dentist. The answer was a clinic that does not feel like one. Noise dampening insulation sits in every wall, the noisy lab equipment is tucked into L-shaped rooms, and the hallway runner is there to absorb sound as much as to look good. Every treatment room adjusts its light temperature and lights indirectly, so you never lie back staring into a lamp, and two private consultation rooms and a private checkout corridor keep your medical and financial conversations to yourself.

Dr. Radovan Rudik

Dentist

Born in Slovakia and raised in Mississauga. He read Medical Sciences with honours at Western, took his dental education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and returned to UNC for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. He has passed both the American and the Canadian national dental boards. His most memorable experience was providing dental care to orphans in Moldova.

Dr. Amy Cao and Dr. Osama Qureshi

Dentists

Dr. Cao graduated from the University of Sydney Faculty of Dentistry, taking the Rudolf Gunz Medal in her final year for proficiency across knowledge and clinical work, and believes a friendly, comfortable environment matters as much as the dentistry itself. Dr. Qureshi completed his dental degree at the University of Toronto after a research-focused second bachelor degree, has practised from rural northern Ontario to Minnesota, and finds teaching continuing education courses to dental students the most rewarding part of the job.

Growing up I had a dentist who absolutely should not have been working with children, gaslit me about my highly sensitive teeth and shut down my complaints of pain during procedures. Naturally, I now struggle with a severe phobia of medical procedures. Moose Lake was recommended to me as a good dentist for people who hated dentists, and I couldn't agree more!

I very recently completed a front tooth implant procedure with Moose Lake Dental, which is a process that requires a great deal of precision when it comes to shade, shape, proportion, and overall aesthetic match. A front tooth shapes the smile, the face, and the confidence with which you speak, laugh, and see yourself.

I've been going to Moose Lake dental for approximately five years now. Before that I hadn't been to a dentist in nearly ten years. This was mainly due to bad experiences at other dental practices. When I found myself in need of a dentist after getting an infection I chose Moose Lake dental because I liked the name.
